A May 27 article in the Niagara Dailies mentions Niagara College’s rainbow crosswalk as the first in Niagara as noted by Enzo De Divitiis, chairperson of Pride Niagara.
NC installed rainbow crosswalks at both the Welland Campus and Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake in 2019 in support of the college’s LGBTQ2+ community thanks to a student-led initiative championed by NCSAC.
