A message from Lisa Mendez, associate dean, School of Business and Management Studies:
It is with mixed feelings that I announce the retirement of Anne Wylie. After 35 committed years of service to the College and the School of Business, Anne Wylie is retiring on June 30, 2021.
Anne found her love for teaching in 1986 as a full-time faculty member at Niagara College. She has been a strong advocate of the Human Resources programs here at NC, and was instrumental in bringing our HRM Graduate Certificate program to fruition 20 years ago. During her tenure, Anne has supported, mentored, and educated a generation of HR professionals.
Anne holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Business degree from McMaster University, as well as an MBA in Human Resources and Labour Relations, also from McMaster. She has been an active member of the HRPA and obtained her CHRL certification. Anne has always focused on continued learning by enrolling in courses beyond her degrees and obtained her CMP (Certified Management Professional) certification.
Over the last 35 years, Anne has been a strong supporter of all learners and she will be greatly missed by her peers and students. Please join me in wishing Anne all the best in her retirement.
