Food in Canada shared NC’s release about the tenth anniversary of the College’s Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management program, the first of its kind in Canada.
As noted in the release, the trailblazing program launched in 2010 and just months into their studies heading into the holiday season, NC’s first class of Brewmaster students launched their first student-crafted beer: First Draft Campus Ale. On December 6, 2010, St. Nicholas Day – as a nod to the patron saint of brewers – they tapped their first keg of First Draft, while on December 10, they bottled it.
