COE webinar series for employees continues

The Centre for Organizational Excellence (COE) is pleased to share additional sessions in its webinar series that launched April 14. The series is designed to support Niagara College employees with the key challenges they are facing as they parent, support seniors in their lives, maintain their focus at work, and try to take care of themselves in a time that is anything but normal.

Each webinar offers valuable tips and helpful strategies and is interactive with opportunities for participants to ask questions. Webinar sessions will also be recorded and made accessible afterwards, so those who are unable to attend the webinar live will still have an opportunity to watch it at their convenience.

In addition, COE is offering a four-week KORU mindfulness course to employees for the first time, which will be facilitated by NC’s Michelle MacIntosh, counsellor, Health, Wellness and Accessibility.

Four-week KORU mindfulness course
Thursday, June 4 to Thursday, June 25, 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

Living with uncertainty – Navigating unknowns
Friday, June 5, 1 to 2 p.m.
Guest: Lynda Fernyhough, MA, Certified Canadian Counsellor and parenting consultant

Staying active at home
Friday, June 10, 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Guest: Amanda Gregory, fitness coordinator, NC Athletics and Recreation
