COE webinar series for employees begins April 14

As all Niagara College employees work to navigate these uncertain times, we understand you may be looking for additional support, strategies, and resources.

The Centre for Organizational Excellence is pleased to share with you a new webinar series designed to support employees with the key challenges they are facing as they parent, support seniors in their lives, maintain their focus at work, and try to take care of themselves in a time that is anything but normal.

This informal webinar series will feature interviews with subject matter experts who will provide insight on a variety of engagement and wellness topics. Each 45-minute webinar will offer valuable tips and helpful strategies and will be interactive with opportunities for participants to ask questions of our guests. Each webinar will also be recorded and made accessible after it is complete, so those who are unable to attend the webinar live will still have an opportunity to watch it at their convenience.

Tuesday, April 14. 12 noon to 12:45 p.m.

Taking Care of Yourself during Stressful Times
Thursday, April 16. 3 to 3:45 p.m.
Guests: Laura Fakla, International Student advisor at NC, and Nattalie Boverhof, International Student Engagement coordinator at NC.

Supporting Seniors in Your Life
Tuesday, April 21. 1:30 to 2:15 p.m.
Guests: Denise Verreault, director, Programs and Services, Alzheimer Society of Niagara Region, Cathy Saliba, manager, Resident and Family Support Services, Niagara Region Seniors Services

Building Resilience and Finding Focus when the World is Tilting
Thursday, April 23. 11 to 11:45 a.m.
Guest: Martha Sales, Certified Executive Coach and faculty member at Royal Roads University

We intend to add more sessions in the weeks to come if there is sufficient interest.
