Bernie Puchalski from BPSN wrote an article featuring Lauren Alguire who will be joining the NC women’s volleyball team as its first recruit for the 2020-2021 season. The current Eden High School student was not only drawn to NC for its women’s volleyball program, she also had her eye on the College’s Occupational Therapist Assistant/Physiotherapist Assistant program. The fact that NC is close-to-home for the St. Catharines native was also a factor.
Steve Dow, NC women’s volleyball head coach, is quoted in the article:
“Lauren is a local Niagara athlete who we believed flew under the radar,” said Dow. “She has great body control and kinaesthetic awareness. Lauren will be a great addition to our team and fill the depth we lost at libero with our graduating athletes.”
