Niagara This Week shared news of the funding announcement made on September 3 at NC’s NOTL Campus. The Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario) announced $13 million to create jobs and support innovation, $5 million of which will be invested with NC and partners to establish a Greenhouse Technology Network.
The announcement, on behalf of Navdeep Bains minister of innovation, science and economic development, took place at the grand opening of Niagara College’s Marotta Family Innovation Complex in which the Marotta family were honoured for their $1 million donation to support the new research and student facility.
