NC’s vice president, Research, Innovation and Strategic Initiatives Marc Nantel spoke to host of Niagara in the Morning Tim Dennis on Newstalk 610 CKTB about new funding for research at the College. Nantel outlines the funding for the new Marotta Family Innovation Centre which will expand the research capabilities of the Canadian Food and Wine Institute with beverage development labs. Nantel explains the impact this will have on industry, from helping companies innovate and create jobs.
Nantel commends the Marotta family’s $1 million contribution, as well as the significant $13 million funding announcement from September 3 to support greenhouse technology research in the Niagara region.
