The Niagara-on-the-Lake (NOTL) Library and Learning Commons will be closed from August 26 to September 1 as staff will be supervising the return of books, equipment and resources into the newly renovated facility in time for the start of the Fall 2019 Term.
Visit this link for a map of the areas being renovated.
Since May, the library and learning commons has been operating in a temporary location in the Marotta Family Innovation Complex. The renovated space, still located in the North Wing of the main building, includes:
- new and more seating for students;
- redesigned, flexible library space able accommodate individual and collaborative study and work.
Normal Fall Term hours are expected when the Library and Learning Commons reopens Sept. 3. Hours are subject to change to accommodate construction. Please visit the ncLibraries website for up-to-date information and online resources which are available 24/7: nclibraries.niagaracollege.ca/library
Further renovations are also underway at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Campus that will provide new and updated spaces for NC’s Student Administrative Council, International Offices, and Indigenous Education. The new NCSAC offices, located to the left of the cafeteria entrance, and International offices are expected to open the week of Sept. 23, while new facilities for Indigenous Education will open in November. See the Gantt chart outlining the timeline for the move back into the renovated space.
