A retirement celebration will be held for Dave Taylor, associate vice president of Academic and Learner Services, on August 26.

A message from Steve Hudson, senior vice president, Academic and Learner Services:

As was previously announced, Dave Taylor will be completing his 33 years of service with Niagara College at the end of August. He has been the associate vice president Academic and Learner Services for the last two years, supporting both the academic delivery of programs as well as ensuring that athletics and recreation services for students are well developed.

As many of you know, Dave has a long history with Niagara College, starting as a business faculty member. Dave has been dean in a number of divisions including Business, Hospitality, and Academic and Liberal Studies. Dave was also the principal of the Taif Campus in Saudi Arabia, where he oversaw the commissioning and start-up of our first campus in the country.

I want to thank Dave for both his advice and support during his time as associate vice president Academic as well as (prior to that) dean  His extensive knowledge of the College and ability to work across the divisions has been invaluable. His work has been essential in helping Academic and Learner Services move forward over the years. I also want to recognize the significant contribution he made to the College as a whole with his work in Saudi Arabia.

Dave has made life-long friendships here at the College and I know he will be missed.  Please join us in wishing him well as he heads into the next phase of his journey.
