ELECTION UPDATE: Candidates announced for Academic Representative on NC Board of Governors

There are five candidates running for the position of Academic Representative on the Niagara College Board of Governors. It is a 3-year term running from September 1, 2019 to August 31, 2022.

The five candidates are:

  • D’Elia, Peter
  • Duncan, Frank
  • Gupta, Shauna
  • Madronic, Robert
  • Steele, Jodi

Candidate campaigning is permitted to begin March 25. Elections will be conducted online from 8:30 am on Monday, April 1 until 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 4. Please note that campaigning is permitted during the election period.

If you are an eligible voter, you will receive an email today confirming that your name is on the voters’ list. Any person who is employed full-time by the College since January 31, 2019 and continuously until the election date, as a teacher, a counsellor or a librarian is eligible to vote.

Please note, if you believe you are eligible but do not receive an email today confirming you are on the voters’ list, you must contact Michael Audibert at ext. 4018 ([email protected]) by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27 for verification.
