A message from Joanne Bakker, associate dean, Workforce Development:
With great pleasure, I am pleased to share with you the appointment of Rebecca Nicholls as our new manager of Employment Services (currently located at 1 St Paul Street, St Catharines).
Rebecca is no stranger to the Niagara College community. She received her advanced diploma in Business Administration – Human Resources at Niagara College. Over the past years, she has filled a number of full-time roles within the College. She began her career in Employment Services and then worked on campus in the test centre as well as teaching online and career planning courses. Most recently, she has worked as an Employment and Job Development advisor.
With all these roles, Rebecca brings a rich experience of the service and government-funded projects delivered in Employment Services as well as a working knowledge of the Niagara College system and culture. She has a strong relationship with our community and government stakeholders.
Rebecca will officially assume the leadership role on July 3. Please join me in welcoming her to this new position.
