Graduating Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management student Brad Barta has gotten ‘the boot.’ Barta was the latest winner of Taps beer magazine’s Golden Boot scholarship for his Bavarian IPA. The scholarship was awarded at the Canadian Brew Awards in Vancouver on May 28 and, although Barta was not able to attend, he received the award from officials at the College’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute.
