Musical Theatre
CAMP DATES: JULY 6-10, JULY 27-31
• AGES 8-13
Do you have dreams of being a star performer on Broadway? Do you feel like showing the world your
singing, dancing and acting talents? This unforgettable week long experience will see each camper embrace
their unique talents and learn to shine with the help of professional performing arts instructors. Campers will be taught and encouraged to showcase their skills and imaginations to discover what it takes to shine under the brightest lights of musical theatre.
A day at camp will consist of: Vocal Warm-ups; Singing through and learning repertoire; Acting Games;Staging Songs (Large & Small Ensembles & Solos) and more…
Scientists in Summer
CAMP DATES: JULY 6-10, JULY 13-17, JULY 20-24
• AGES 7-11
Join Scientists in School for a week of discovery and wonder, guaranteed to engage students of all ages! Each morning will consist of a hands-on workshop exploring a wide range of innovative topics. Our team of Scientists will take you on an optical and botanical adventure. Camps will include a half day of science and a half day of recreational/sport activities!
Mosaic Madness
JULY 13-17
• AGES 7-11
Become the colourful artist you always wanted to be in this fun all-day hands-on course! Learn the
exciting art of wax painting where you can make great paintings, learn how to add colour to prints and how
to express yourself with a self-portrait and nature scenes. From mixing colours to learning how to texture with wax paints, let your imagination run wild! And just as you thought the fun was over, learn how tomake exciting mosaics using broken plates and make a picture and a special item for your room, from avase to a pencil box as you learn how to sketch, tile, grout and seal to bring new life to old dishes.
Bead Creative
JULY 20-24
• AGES 7-11
Be a talented jewelry designer and artist in this glamourous hands-on, all-day workshop! Make beautiful jewelry using beads, wire, and even chain mail to make earrings, bracelets, necklaces and cool shoeless sandals for the beach! Learn how to bead, wirework, and chainmail to be the hippest child in town. But the fun doesn’t stop there – learn to make awesome fi gurines and pictures, and even a frame using Apoxie Sculpt – adding glitter and rhinestones to make your piece stand out as you learn how to mix, shape, form, and use moulds to create the pieces that reflect the beautiful artist in you!
What Every Babysitter Should Know
MAY 9, JUNE 6
• AGES 11+
With St. John Ambulance certificate in hand, you will be ready for your first babysitting job. Boost your confidence as you learn about First Aid and CPR, how to keep kids safe, and how to handle emergencies. Bring a doll or teddy bear that can be diapered and a peanut-free lunch.
