Virtual Community of Practice – Assessments, AI & UDL

If you have been seeking the opportunity to collaborate with other faculty about assessment strategies that uphold academic integrity in the age of artificial intelligence (AI), then this community of practice (CoP) might be what you are seeking.
The goals of this CoP include:
- Creating an understanding of the impact of AI on assessments.
- Develop assessment practices that maintain integrity.
- To support the integration of universal design for learning principles into assessment design.
- To share best practices, resources, and experiences among faculty members.
- To foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in assessment strategies.
Each meeting will be centered around the sharing of knowledge, the ability to collaborate on projects, resource development, and discussions of successes and challenges in assessments.
This CoP is open to all faculty.
Attendance to every session is not a requirement. Registration indicates that you would like to have the link to the virtual sessions emailed to you would like to be given access to shared resources. Registration will be ongoing, and you are welcome to join at any point throughout the term. You only need to register once to get information for all sessions.
Meetings will be held twice per month, hosted by the CAE through MS Teams, on the following dates:
September 16th 1:30-2:30pm
September 27th 1:30-2:30pm
October 15th 9:30-10:30am
October 31st 11:30-12:30pm
November 11th 2:30-3:30pm
November 27th 1:30-2:30pm
