Life with Learning Disabilities Presented by LDANR (A Disability Awareness Week Webinar)

Have you ever heard of the term “Learning Disabilities” or “LDs” but are unsure of what that means? Do you wonder how you can support the students and peers in the classroom who face educational barriers related to their learning disabilities? This session is a great opportunity to build your understanding and your ability to be support and advocate for those with LDs in our school and in the community.
The Learning Disabilities Association of the Niagara Region (LDANR) presents an overview of what Learning Disabilities feel and look like in the college classroom. They will explore the journey that students undertake to be successful while managing the challenges they encounter.
This session is designed to be inclusive for all staff and students who want to learn more.
The session is being offered virtually through Microsoft Teams. A link to the event will be sent out the morning of the session.
