Why is accessibility important and how does it apply to your teaching and learning contexts? Inaccessible teaching and learning environments are exclusionary teaching and learning environments. True accessibility means proactively taking action to create access across our institution. In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore perspectives and models of disability, reflect on the importance of accessibility in your teaching, and consider approaches to reduce barriers and create more accessible teaching and learning environments.
