Education in Equity 101 – A webinar series focused on learning about and unpacking concepts in equity and inclusion in higher education. Each of these 60 minute introductory sessions will provide you with a foundational understanding of a topic and its impact in teaching and learning spaces.
How do socio-economic status and classism affect students in our higher education system? According to the American Psychological Association (APA), Socio-economic status (SES) encompasses not just income but also includes educational attainment, financial security, and subjective perceptions of social status and social class.
