Online synchronous learning offers opportunities to make use of the benefits of online learning while still connecting directly with students.  In this session, we will look at tools and techniques that can be used to effectively engage students in synchronous learning, including preparing students for synchronous sessions, promoting student interest, engaging in active learning, and using interactive tools.
