This double session will first explore the variety of communication tools available to you to engage your students in your Brightspace course. Best practices for communicating with students via Brightspace will be shared including announcements, email, discussions, and group collaboration tools.

This session will then provide an overview of evaluating assessments and utilizing the grades tool in your new Brightspace environment. We will explore the grades setup wizard, how to grade assignments with the grades tool, and learn about the quick eval widget available to you on your Brightspace homepage.

This session will be hosted in a computer lab at the DJP campus. You will not need to bring a computer to participate.
