August 21, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- If you are a new part-time faculty member and have registered for, or intend to register for, the Part-time Teachers’ Development Program (PTTDP) in August, you do not need to register for a Blackboard Boot Camp session here. You will be completing a Boot Camp session as part of the PTTDP and will register for a session as part of the PTTDP registration process.
- Space is limited due to availability of computers. If you can not register for a session, it has reached its quota – we’d ask that you please try to register for another session. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Faculty, are you interested in a broad-based and interactive introduction to Blackboard? If so, the CAE is offering comprehensive Blackboard training sessions for faculty who want to learn how to access, set up, and use Blackboard course sites. During this workshop you will:
- Explore key features of a Blackboard course site
- Assemble a sample Blackboard course using content, communication, collaboration, and assessment tools
- Discuss how Blackboard can be used in yours courses to support teaching and learning
We’ll go over the basics of Blackboard and then look at ways to use the platform to engage in effective assessment, communication, and collaboration.
