Course feedback surveys contribute to the continuous improvement of quality teaching and learning at Niagara College.
Course feedback surveys are a mechanism for gathering and responding to input from students on all course offerings. We all have a role to play in improving the NC teaching and learning experience.
I’ve always felt student feedback is the most important feedback we can receive. After all, our students are vital members of the college community, and their experience is of paramount importance to our future planning and success. Students are often overwhelmed during feedback time and even though we provide countless opportunities for them to answer surveys on their own time, all too often it doesn’t happen. Bottom line is we miss out on hearing what the majority of our students think. As a result I always devote time in class to allow my students the time necessary to provide this valuable feedback. I get close to 100% responses and students don’t have to find extra time in their busy schedules to get it done.
