On April 8th, 2021, Blackboard released new options that improve Faculty choice over the number of video feeds shown during a Collaborate Ultra online meeting. With the addition of Gallery View moderators and online meeting creators can now see up to 25 participants video. The Gallery View is a new addition to the existing Tiled and Speaker viewing options. Once multiple attendees have joined the Collaborate Ultra session, click the View icon (four squares) in the top right to switch between views.

To make interactions more intuitive, Blackboard has also added meeting control options to video feeds. In Gallery view, Tiled view, and Speaker view moderators can point to an attendee’s video and select the Attendee Controls to send them a private chat, promote a participant, mute the attendee, or remove the person from the session.

**Note** The number of video feeds displayed while using these updated viewing options is dependant on your browser, device, and the number of participants in the room. At the moment, Gallery View is not available in Safari® on iOS or iPadOS. Also, there is a maximum of 2 video feeds that can be displayed while using the Firefox browser. For the most stable Blackboard experience, the CAE recommends using the Chrome browser when accessing the learning management system.
