Discover the Construction Skills program with a focus on framing, drywall and blueprint reading, offered by Niagara College in partnership with the Niagara Home Builders' Association (NHBA)

Looking for a stable career in the construction industry? Niagara College and Niagara Home Builders’ Association are proud to announce a new, fully-funded, 16 week Construction Skills program focusing on Framing, drywall and blueprint reading. This program is made possible by a $1.3 million Skills Development Fund grant to meet labour demand in the residential construction industry.

Highlights

Program offers eight weeks of hands-on learning and skill development in the School of Trades at Niagara College's Welland Campus.
Students participate in an eight-week paid work placement after their classroom training is complete.

This Employment Ontario program is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
