Anatomy and Physiology I
This course will introduce you to the anatomy (form) and physiology (function) of the organ systems that make up the human body. Beginning from the microscopic and ending with a macroscopic perspective, you will investigate anatomical features and physiological concepts related to the integument, skeletal, muscular and nervous systems using a variety of print and electronic learning resources. Emphasis will be given to the contribution of each system in the maintenance of homeostasis. This course will provide a strong foundation for subsequent studies of pathophysiology and client care.
