The Photography Program will be returning to its pre-pandemic End of Year Show format in the Niagara College Applied Health Auditorium on April 19.

Our 13th annual End of Year Show will be an expertly curated audio-visual presentation on the big screen, showcasing the final portfolio work of our graduating students. Submissions for ‘Aperture’, our in-house photography competition for both year one and year two students will also be screened.

Special award presentations will include Portfolio of the Year (sponsored by Nikon Canada – grand prize of a professional Nikon camera kit), The Architectural Photography Award, The Tym Hrycusko Memorial Trophy, The ‘Big Heart’ Award and winners of the Aperture Photography Competition.

The evening will conclude with the unveiling of our annual hardcover book “inception 13”.

Guest speakers scheduled to attend include NC President Sean Kennedy, Interim Dean, Media, Trades and Technology, Leo Tiberi, Associate Dean, School of Media, Charles Kopun and senior representatives from Nikon Canada. Students, their families, friends, Alumni of the Photography Program, the NC community and general public are all invited to attend.

The show begins at 7 p.m. and is expected run approximately two hours.
