On Wednesday, January 18, 30 students from high schools across Niagara, Halton, Hamilton, Brampton, Mississauga, Cambridge, Kitchener, London and Haldimand received a special delivery from Niagara College during the College’s fourth Offer Blitz.
Members from NC’s Recruitment and Marketing department as well as the NC Executive team hand delivered acceptance letters, NC swag and – in some cases – cheques for $1,000 for Specialist High-Skills Major (SHSM) Scholarships, to surprised and excited students.
Niagara College surprised & celebrated Canon and Nathan – they have already accepted their offers and they will be beginning their post-secondary studies in September at NC! Remember, Bulldogs, Feb. 1st is the equal consideration deadline for ON Colleges! pic.twitter.com/B5tDvDk4p3

“We are passionate about student success and know that preparing for college is a big transition,” said NC President Sean Kennedy. “Offer Blitz provides us an opportunity to personally welcome students to the Niagara College family and to let them know that NC is here to support them on their academic journey.”
NC recruiters documented the Offer Blitz on Instagram and Twitter, sharing photos and videos that captured the surprise and excitement of students as they received their offers of admission.
“It was fantastic to connect with so many eager students during NC’s Offer Blitz,” said Ian Aikenhead, Director, Student Recruitment. “You could feel the positive energy at every school we visited, and it was a pleasure for us to welcome the next generation of Knights to our supportive, inclusive and dynamic community.”
