Niagara College has decided to combine its spring and fall convocation seasons into a single, comprehensive annual celebration.
Moving forward, all NC graduates will be celebrated at Convocation Ceremonies in June. By sharing this update, we hope to ensure that our graduates have ample time to plan their milestone celebration with their families and friends.
This unified format ensures that all NC graduates have the opportunity to participate in NC’s signature high-production convocation experience during the true highlight of the academic year. It allows the College to celebrate our latest graduates in an equitable, consistent and memorable way that reflects the immense dedication they have invested in their education.
Celebrating on campus each spring also ensures that graduates and their families can gather at a time of year when the risk of event postponement due to unforeseen or seasonal weather-related circumstances is significantly reduced.
Under this new format, the College will no longer host Fall Convocation ceremonies. Graduates who were initially scheduled for the Fall 2026 ceremonies will instead be celebrated during the next NC Convocation Ceremonies, to be held the week of June 7, 2027, at the Welland Campus.
Further updates and specific ceremony schedules will be shared as the details are finalized.
Official transcripts will be available through myCreds and Confirmation of Graduation letters will be emailed to you following the completion of your program.
Graduating students are encouraged to monitor their student email and the convocation website www.niagaracollege.ca/convocation for information.
It’s important that all graduating students confirm their contact information (including current address) at niagaracollege.ca/mync/help/update-contact-information/
