Niagara College is inviting faculty and staff to get involved in an upcoming student-focused Mental Health and Wellbeing Retreat taking place on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Welland Campus.
The retreat will bring together students for a day dedicated to supporting wellbeing across all areas of life, mind, body, and spirit, through interactive and engaging experiences. As part of the planning process, the College is seeking faculty and staff facilitators interested in leading sessions that promote student wellbeing in meaningful and practical ways.
Proposed sessions may explore a wide range of topics related to wellbeing, including, but not limited to:
- Movement and physical activity
- Nutrition and healthy habits
- Sleep and rest
- Relaxation and stress management
- Meditation and mindfulness
- Creative arts and expression
- Other holistic approaches that support student wellbeing
Facilitators are encouraged to submit proposals for sessions that are inclusive, interactive, and designed to actively engage students.
