The School of Culinary Arts is hosting a “Classic Italian Pasta Day” pop-up with Chef Tony de Luca and Chef Isa Mottiar on December 11 from 11:30 a.m. until supplies last.
The pop up will take place in the lobby of the NC Culinary Arts Cafe at the Daniel J. Patterson Campus in Niagara-on-the-Lake, as the chefs share their heritage, love, and passion for pasta.
The mouthwatering menu includes the following choices at $8 per entree:
- Hand Potato Gnocchi & Brown Butter – Sage Sauce (Lacto-Ovo Vegetarian)
- Butternut Squash & Ricotta filled Mezzaluna – Apple & Gorgonzola Cream, Pancetta Crisp (can be served without pancetta for vegetarian)
- In-House Made “RigaTONY” – Bolognese Sauce & Pecorino Romano Cheese
All items are handmade in-house for you to enjoy.
Opportunity to donate a toy or non-perishable good
Donations of new toys and non-perishable food items will also be collected at the pasta pop-up for those who are able to give.
Any toys received on December 11 go towards the NC Give Back Committee’s holiday initiative, which supports NC student families in need. The toys will be gifted to the families identified on the remaining tags found on the Christmas trees in the Libraries and Learning Commons.
