Support for those affected by the earthquake in Morocco

Niagara College offers its heartfelt condolences to those affected by the devastating earthquake that occurred in Morocco.

During this time of mourning, it is important that we come together as a supportive and compassionate community, offering solace, empathy and understanding to one another.

In the face of such heartbreaking events, it is natural to experience a wide range of concerns, challenges, and emotions. Remember that these feelings are valid, and it is essential to process them in healthy ways.

The wellbeing and mental health of its community is of the utmost importance to Niagara College; know that the College is committed to providing a supportive environment and resources to assist its community with any challenges they may face.

  • Students can also access 24/7 support through Keep.meSAFE, a multilingual, culturally sensitive and gender inclusive wellness support program.

Extend kindness, compassion, and understanding to your fellow students, staff and faculty and all those affected by this tragedy; keep the affected individuals and their families in your thoughts as they navigate through this difficult period.
