The Niagara Independent reported on a new long-term care home in Niagara-on-the-Lake that will feature a “Living Classroom” developed in partnership with Niagara College.
The partnership will provide Personal Support Worker (PSW) students with enhanced opportunities for hands-on learning within a long-term care environment. Through the College’s hybrid PSW program delivery model, students will spend more time onsite in a long-term care setting, allowing them to strengthen their practical skills.
The Living Classroom is part of a broader provincial initiative led by Ontario’s Ministry of Long-Term Care.
