Dr. Chris McGrath, VP of Students at NC, wrote a feature for Academica Group’s Illuminating Hope series on the topic of finding hope among students. In the piece, Dr. McGrath reflects on the challenges facing the postsecondary sector, the impact of uncertainty and burnout, and how conversations with students encourage him to remain hopeful for the future.
On June 2, Dr. McGrath will be speaking as part of the opening plenary session for the Conference of the Canadian Association of College & University Student Services (CACUSS). Dr. McGrath will draw from his own experiences (some of which were shared in his article), as the panel explores themes of ongoing uncertainly, collective responsibility and how individuals across roles are navigating shared challenges.
