Message from the Vice President, Academic and Vice President, Students
Beginning today, Niagara College is inviting students to participate in the 2026 Canadian Campus Wellbeing Survey (CCWS), a national initiative focused on strengthening student health and wellbeing across post-secondary institutions.
The survey will be open from March 9 to March 20, 2026. It is coordinated locally by Niagara College’s Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services (HWAS), with support from Planning and Institutional Research (PaIR), and administered nationally by the University of British Columbia.
Student wellbeing, including mental and physical health, sense of belonging, and access to supports, is fundamental to student success and the overall college experience. The CCWS gathers direct feedback from students about their wellbeing, health behaviours, and awareness and use of campus services. These insights inform evidence-based planning, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts across the College.
All currently enrolled post-secondary students aged 18 or older will receive a personalized email invitation with a secure link to complete the survey. The online survey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Participation is voluntary and confidential. Results will be reported in aggregate form, and any written comments will be anonymized.
As a thank you, students who complete the survey may enter a draw to win one of 100 $15 EverythingCard e-gift cards.
For more information on the survey, please visit the CCWS FAQ webpage.
We encourage you to support awareness of the survey within your areas and reinforce the importance of student participation. For questions about the project, please contact Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services at [email protected]. Questions related to survey administration may be directed to [email protected].
Thank you for your continued support of this important initiative.
