The Niagara College Student Administrative Council (NCSAC) has officially launched its 2026 General Election nominations, inviting students to self-nominate for the 2026/27 NCSAC Board of Directors.
Nominations are open February 2 to 13, inviting students with a passion for leadership, advocacy, and enhancing the NC student experience to consider self-nominating.
Serving on the NCSAC Board of Directors provides students with valuable, real-world leadership and governance experience. Benefits of serving on the Board include:
- Professional governance training
- Biweekly honorarium
- Board and board chair meeting experience
- Access to conferences across Canada
- Opportunities to expand professional networks and leadership skills
A total of 12 director positions are available, with one representative from each school of study at NC. To qualify, students must collect 50 student signatures during the nomination period.
To support prospective candidates, NCSAC has launched a new “Learn about your elections” webpage at ncvotes.ca/yourelections, featuring an informational video and an overview of Board responsibilities.
Voting will take place March 16 to 19 at 4 p.m., with ballots emailed directly to eligible students through NC’s online voting platform.
