The three Niagara dailies (St. Catharines Standard, Welland Tribune, and the Niagara Falls Review) released a Niagara sports year in review report highlighting NC on three occasions.
- April 1 — Janee Harrison, Montanna Taylor, female; Khayden Stewart, male; Cienna Toromoreno, female rookie; Rowan Redekop, male rookie; Janee Harrison, All-Canadian; and Steve Stone, coach of the year; were among the winners at Niagara College’s 55th athletic awards banquet.
- June 10 — Allie Columbus, a Hamilton native who spent three seasons playing basketball at Brock University and another as an assistant while recovering from an ACL injury, became the new head coach of the Niagara College women’s team. She also served as an assistant at Saint Francis Catholic Secondary School in St. Catharines and at Western University in London, Ont.
- June 12 — Chris Rao mentioned: Before spending 2024-25 as interim head coach of the women’s hoops program at Cape Breton University, Rao guided Niagara College to two bronze medals in five seasons at the helm of the Knights women’s team.
