Are you looking to kickstart your fitness journey or elevate your current routine this New Year? Look no further than Niagara College’s Fitness and Health Promotion students to help you reach your goals this winter. They are offering free personal training sessions designed to enhance your health and fitness. As part of their curriculum, students will deliver personalized fitness education, counseling, pre- and post-fitness evaluations, and weekly exercise programming, all under the supervision of their instructors.
Participation Eligibility
This program is open to Niagara College staff, students (excluding those in Fitness and Health Promotion) and local community members. Eligible participants must be between 18 and 60 years old, capable of exercising independently, and have no more than one acute or chronic health concern. A valid email address is required for communication purposes.
When and Where
Sessions are available from February 12 to April 23, 2026, excluding statutory holidays and Niagara College’s mid-term break. Training will take place on Thursdays at the Welland Campus, Room A200B in the Athletic Wing, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Each session lasts 50 minutes, and participants must commit to the same session each week.
