Calling all employees with expertise in leadership and teacher training.
Niagara College’s Institute for Global Education and Training is preparing a proposal for exciting international collaborations under SkillShift Mongolia, a five-year (2025-2030) program funded by the Government of Canada through Global Affairs Canada. The program is delivered by Colleges and Institutes Canada in partnership with the Mongolian Ministry of Education (MOE).
If awarded, Niagara College will engage experts to support the development of two impactful partnerships.
SkillShift-02 – National TVET Leadership Program
This partnership will develop and pilot a gender-responsive leadership training program focused on helping polytechnics become more entrepreneurial and responsive to employer needs.
We are looking for individuals with expertise in:
- Developing and delivering leadership training programs for college/institute senior administrators, in Canada and/or internationally.
SkillShift-03 – National Teacher Training Program
This partnership will collaborate to develop a teacher training program with gender and inclusivity (GEI) components, and train master trainers to deliver it to other institutions after SkillShift concludes.
We are looking for individuals with expertise in:
- Developing and delivering teacher-training programs designed to strengthen industry-responsive, CBET-based TVET training, in Canada and/or internationally.
Additionally, for both partnerships, expertise in the following is also sought:
- Collaborating with government agencies to develop and implement programs.
- Understanding the context in Mongolia (considered an asset).
Duration:
- Long-term consultancy (approximately 3.5 years) with the project’s inception and the implementation phases taking place from April 2026 to December 2029.
