Niagara this Week: Future NC student brings home gold medal from national skills competition

Niagara this Week and the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard, and Welland Tribune) recently profiled Greater Fort Erie Secondary School (GFESS) student Autumn Wartman, who earned top honours at the Skills Canada National Competition in Regina.

Wartman, a Grade 12 culinary student at GFESS, captured gold in the Job Skills Demonstration category with her polished and practised crepe-making presentation.

The article notes that Wartman plans to pursue her passion for pastry at Niagara College this fall.
