On May 14, the three Niagara dailies (Niagara Falls Review, St. Catharines Standard and Welland Tribune) published an article about the Niagara-on-the-Lake Ambassador program and its new kiosk, unveiled on Queen Street beside the Niagara District Court House on May 13.
Constructed by Niagara College students, the kiosk was designed to resemble a historical sentry box originally installed during the War of 1812 bicentennial. Built using locally sourced materials, the structure also features a distinctive antique black lock imported from England.
