Pelham Today, Thorold Today and the NOTL Local shared a profile on NC alumna Cheryl Kidd (Electronics Engineering Technician program, 2023) who balances two passions: repairing medical equipment at Niagara Falls Hospital by day and running her home-based bakery, The Chippawa Bakeshop, by night.

After high school, she took a different path, studying electronics at Niagara College. A professor with a medical equipment design business sparked her interest in biomedical applications, leading to a fulfilling career in healthcare technology.
