Message from Fiona Allan, Vice President, Academic:
The end of Winter term is near, and NC is seeking valued feedback from our students through Course Feedback Surveys, which will be available from April 3-20.
Organized and facilitated by the Centre for Academic Excellence, Course Feedback Surveys offer students a chance to thoughtfully assess the quality of their courses, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to guiding the continuous improvement efforts of the College.
The insights gathered from these surveys are integral to the enhancement of our academic offerings and programs. They enable us to evaluate and innovate, ensuring we deliver the highest quality education and student experience at NC.
Faculty support plays a crucial role in promoting this survey among our student community. I urge all faculty members to communicate to their students the value of their feedback. Please remind students to take the survey and, if possible, consider allocating class time for students to complete surveys.
You can assure your students that any information provided to faculty is shared anonymously from the Course Feedback survey system.
Students will receive an email with instructions on how to access their surveys via Brightspace. Surveys can be completed from any device or computer.
Through Brightspace, faculty can view the list of their courses being surveyed and how many students have completed the survey in real time.
To view final results, log in to Brightspace a week after the course ends and click on the Course Feedback link in the navigation bar in either the main Brightspace landing page or from within any Brightspace course.
Please note that surveys will be open for most post-secondary credit courses during this timeframe.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the success of our students.
