The Niagara-on-the-Lake Local posted an article about Arts Unbound, a community event being held in partnership with the Music Niagara Festival and Community Living Grimsby, Lincoln & West Lincoln. The Oct. 5 event will feature performances from artists who live with a developmental disability and have overcome obstacles to become talented musicians, dancers, and singers. NC’s BRTF program will stream Arts Unbound and help organizers share the stories of the individual artists involved.
Music Niagara general manager Karen Lade is quoted: “They will be there to stream the event for us,” says Lade. “And as soon as our performers are selected we are going to send a film crew to go out and learn more about the life stories of each of them and we’ll play those all back on Oct. 5.”
