College employees will have another opportunity to enhance their empathy and understanding of students with disabilities using a made-at-NC virtual reality (VR) learning tool.

On March 24 from 2 to 4 p.m., at the Welland Campus registered employees are invited to join for an immersive experience in perspective-taking using Oculus Quest II VR headsets or via a PC version.

Participants will engage in virtual simulations that allow them to interact with characters from diverse backgrounds and scenarios set on post-secondary campuses. These simulations focus on various barriers, including physical, architectural, and attitudinal challenges, and guide learners through choices on how to respond to ableism.

Register here.

Please note spaces for this session are limited. If the session is full and you are interested in joining the waitlist, please contact [email protected].
