CTV News featured NC alumna Sophie Zimmer (Brewmaster and Brewery Operations Management, 2021) in a segment highlighting her role as head brewer at Tire Shack Brewing Co. In celebration of International Women’s Day, Zimmer crafted a small-batch Mango IPA for a special event hosted by the brewery.
“When I graduated from my program at Niagara College there were four women in my class out of 25,” said Zimmer. “So, not a massive percentage, but the most women they’ve had in a while.”
