101.1 More FM announced that almost $1.4-million is being invested at Niagara College to train more construction workers to build homes. This initiative is a partnership between NC, Niagara Home Builders Association, and the provincial government.
Fiona Allan, NC’s VP of Academic is quoted in the article: “This has really been an important source of funding for us. The Skills Development Fund has enabled us to help 200 skilled Niagara College graduates to enter the construction industry. And we couldn’t have done it without the Niagara Home Builders Association.”
