Further to our announcement this summer, Niagara College will formally celebrate the launch of our 2024-2029 Sustainability Plan: A Time for Action at our Free Store events for students.
Please join us in the Wellness Lounge on November 25 (NOTL) or November 27 (Welland) at 2 p.m. for remarks from President Sean Kennedy (WC) and Senior Vice-President, College Operations, Pam Skinner (NOTL), refreshments, and a video to celebrate the plan as students ‘shop’ (at no cost) for gently used goods.

The Sustainability Plan – aligned with the priorities in our Strategic Plan – is our bold approach to shape a sustainable, inclusive, and healthy campus community for today and for generations of Knights to come. Informed by insight from students and employees, the plan is a shared responsibility with ties to many areas of the College.
In the spirit of sustainability this is a waste-free event, so come prepared with your reusable mug or bottle to enjoy hot beverages and water (disposables will not be provided).

Donations of gently used clothing and household items are being accepted the week prior and can be dropped off between November 18 and 22 in E104 (NOTL), and S217A (Welland). Learn more here.
