CKTB: Craig Youdale on NC’s new signature dinner series

Craig Youdale joined Steph Vivier on CKTB to discuss NC’s new signature dinner series, “A Chef’s Journey.”

“We wanted to develop something that gave people an opportunity to know our chefs,” said Youdale. “We have some world-class, well-known chefs on our faculty team and we wanted to give them the opportunity to express themselves and talk about what brought them to Niagara College and a chance for our students to work with them in a different environment than some of the labs that they’re used to. It also gives us a chance to celebrate some of the alumni that are out there that will be part of this series…who are having a fantastic career because of their time at the College.”

The segment highlights the series kickoff on November 28 with “A Story of Chef Craig Youdale,” featuring wines sourced by esteemed NC Wine Professor Peter Rod.

Youdale also elaborates on the Student Experience Scholarship Fund, which supports students from NC’s Culinary, Tourism, and Beverage Studies division. The fund will help students who are highly engaged outside the classroom, working at Benchmark restaurant, volunteering for charitable activities, or supporting special events, and who demonstrate exemplary leadership and teamwork skills.
