A message from John Levay, CIO:
It is with mixed emotions that I share that John Hilbing, Director, Client Support Services, will be leaving the ITS team at Niagara College on November 8, having accepted a new position as CIO of the Town of Fort Erie.
ITS management are working on an interim plan which we will communicate shortly.
I want to express my thanks to John for his 10 years of service, and for his leadership on many significant projects including AV changes, AppsAnywhere, pandemic support, Library support, virtualized desktops, remote imaging, asset management, renewal planning, project management as well as the myriad cybersecurity changes, to name just a few. Of special note is his leadership with Facilities Management on new buildings and renovations.
As John has declined a gathering, please take time over the next few days to say goodbye and wish him well in his new position.
