Holiday hours for the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend

Niagara College will be closed on Monday, October 14 for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please review the below list of operating hours for services and enterprises over the long weekend.

Teaching Winery and Wine Visitor + Education Centre: Both will remain open with regular hours (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) from Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14.

Athletics & Recreation: Both campus fitness centres and gymnasiums will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15. The Welland Campus fitness centre and gymnasium will also be closed on Sunday, October 13.

Bookstores: Both campus bookstores will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Campus Safety and Parking: Both campus exterior doors will be locked on Monday, October 14 and will reopen on Tuesday, October 15 at 6 a.m. Should you require access to either campus, you must contact Security at 905-735-2211 ext.6999 or email [email protected]. Access to either facility will be at the discretion of Security, or as previously approved/communicated.

Career Services: Career Services at both campuses will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Community Employment Services (CES) – 43 Church St. in St. Catharines: CES will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Enrolment Services: Enrolment Services, including all online and in-person services, will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Food & Ancillary Services: All food and ancillary services will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15. Benchmark will also be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Wednesday, October 16.

Health, Wellness and Accessibility Services: HWAS will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15. Students looking for support can also access the following resources:

COAST Niagara / Mental Health and Addiction Help Line
COAST provides services to people in the Niagara Region who are in crisis and have a mental health concern. Ongoing telephone support and/or referral to appropriate follow-up services may be recommended to prevent further crisis.

Good2Talk
Good2Talk is a free, province-wide service for students in college/university and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. It provides professional counselling, mental health information and connections to local resources. Indigenous Education: Indigenous Student Centres at both campuses will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

International Student Services: International Student Services offices at both campuses will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will on Tuesday, October 15.

ncLibraries and Learning Commons: ncLibraries and Learning Commons at both campuses will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15. Online resources are available 24-7 at niagaracollege.ca/library.

NCSAC offices and Student Centres: NCSAC offices, food operations and online chat will be closed on Monday, October 14 will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Student Rights and Responsibilities Office (SRRO): SRRO at both campuses will be closed Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Teaching Greenhouse: The Teaching Greenhouse will be closed from Saturday, October 12 to Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.

Teaching Spa: The Teaching Spa will be closed on Monday, October 14 and will re-open with regular hours on Tuesday, October 15.
